Label Watch: Juicy Couture Moto Leather Shorts

Dare to wear short shorts?  How about leather short shorts?

These Moto Leather Shorts by Juicy Couture were featured in today's Who What Wear Daily Newsletter.  I must say that I am a BIG fan of leather shorts (I know I am strange) and would really love to rock this trend.

One of the problems with leather apparel is that you have to be a bad ass or cool, edgy rocker gal to really pull it off well - because it can often look so tough and hard.  That's one of the reasons I LOVE these shorts.  The little ruffles do soften up the entire look.

 

The website says these are black - but they look more like dark brown to me.

 

I do like how these shorts are kinda dressy and skirt like from behind.  However, I'm not a huge fan of the zipper pockets.  I think I will try them on in store and let you guys know what the verdict is!

Label Watch: Louis Vuitton Limited Edition Handbags (part 2)

I was able to snap a photo (before getting in trouble by a security guard) of the Limited Edition Louis Vuitton Sunshine handbag in pink @ the Louis Vuitton store in San Francisco's Union Square.

Unfortunately, the blue version of the Sunshine bag was not available in the store and apparently it is flying off the shelves but the salesperson assured me that it is possible to track one down.  It makes it a rather tough decision to drop so much dough on something you can't physically see and touch until you've already paid for it.

It looked equally cute on and is basically the perfect size messenger bag - not too big not too small (perfect for toting around camera + equipment/ although I am sure there are a million other bags out there at a fraction of this price).  I wasn't surprised to see that it is made of the Louis Vuitton denim monogram - but am curious to how sturdy that material is vs. the LV canvas which is so durable.

There is no zipper to protect things from falling out of the bag - just that one main buckle - which could be problematic.  I do like the adjustable strap that is printed with the Louis Vuitton brand.

What do you guys think? Worth taking the plunge?

It's that time of year again...

Time to rush to the gym and binge diet so we can all look fabulous in bathing suits this Spring/ Summer and not have to result to the unflattering Spanx one piece suits that just hit stores.

I absolutely love the snake print ruffle on the bandeau and scrunch bottom.  Cannot wait to rock this look in Europe this summer.
