I have never been a BCBG lover - but recently I have turned a new leaf.  I was checking out the website online and found a ton of cute styles.  What prompted this new interest?  Well, we are finally getting summer like weather in SF and low and behold last years Forever 21 jersey dresses and the like - are waaaay to short to resurrect this summer.

I am absolutely obsessed with this Nautical Stripe Dress.  Lucky for me (and my bank account) the website - does not have it in my size.  I am totally doing the crazy search to see if I can track it down... it would just look so great with a pair of Chanel Ballet Flats strolling the streets of SF. :)

So my car was due for a 40K mile check, and of course the service center is right next door to an Urban Outfitters....  so this afternoon, I popped in and picked up a few fun items for Summer.

Here's my favorite new addition to the closet - a great tank dress with a tiny little pocket from Silence & Noise.  I'll be wearing it all summer long - and love the burn out black/ sea foamy green color of the dress.  Imma pair with some funky gladiators and be set!

Shop My Closet: Summer Weddings

One of my best friends is getting married this summer in Mexico - which obviously is a great reason to shop - after all it is a tremendous occasion!  The problem with weddings for me is that a.  I like to wear black everyday b. when I am not wearing black, I like to wear white c. I usually don't buy things that hedge on the more conservative side.  So finding an "appropriate" outfit was somewhat of a challenge for me.

After going to Anthropologie, H&M, Theory, and a handful of shops trying to find something that fit that build - I ended up with this little number from Anthro.  (It's pastel and printed - two things that definitely do not go hand in hand with what I tend to gravitate towards.)

I think I will try to funk it up with some gladiator sandals and jewelry - and then it will be recycled for all future Spring/ Summer weddings and conservative holidays like Easter. :)

This little number was the runner up - but it was not available in the stores and is only online for pre-order/ missing the wedding date.  It's awfully pretty - but I must say the sizes at Anthro are really misleading and everything tends to run really big!!!
