Sigerson Morrison is a design duo based out of NYC - but most of their shoes (particularly famous for flats, booties, and boots) are crafted in Italy. The designers got really famous with Carrie wearing their ankle booties in the Sex In The City Movie. They also were featured in Target stores bringing their goods to the masses.
I am lucky enough to have a pair of patent Siegerson Morrison flats - which are the most comfortable and beautiful pair of shoes that I own to date. (That might change on Saturday - when I go to Barney's and make the Christian Louboutin plunge).
I am literally crying inside because I have lusted after these Sigerson Morrison 7802 flats (above) for the past year. They retail for $469 big ones - and I let them fly off my radar for a few weeks (granted I have been stalking them since last season, and felt the need to move on) but they are now on sale on Zappos.com (alas not in my size) for $270 dollars.
They remind me of the Balenciaga knee high black and white boots that hit the runway last spring... but a more wearable option.
Damnit, I should have splurged! The interwoven white leather on the toe and heel and gold piping make these black flats so special and timeless. I love the vampy and unique vibe that they give off - and since I tend to wear all black outfits/ this would really pop and make a fashion statement!
