The worst thing ever is losing jewelry - especially signature pieces that have grown to become staples of my everyday wardrobe. My hand feels so naked, lol. So two weeks ago, my boss decided to throw me to the wolves, by asking me to attend a SF Big (Interactive Advertising/ Media Industry) networking event solo. Luckily upon showing up, I ran into a few familiar faces and enjoyed a few vodka gimlets. As the night progressed, I happened to leave my favorite gold ring on the bathroom counter. The ring was purchased in Portland, Oregon on my first trip up to visit Wieden + Kennedy (a dope ad agency that works on NIke, Old Spice, you get the point.) where my new friends told me to pop into the Bee & Thistle, a boutique in the pearl, - where I picked up the piece. It was rose gold plated, made by a Brazilian designer and was a simple large square - a little like Mr. T - but I loved it.
Anyways, RIP of my favorite ring has caused me to go on an online shopping frenzy for some replacement bling. I just stumbled upon this Italian Designer and have fallen in love with the funky rings and necklaces. The line tends to mix gold and silver - which I love and also incorporates more unusual details like black diamonds, giving it a pretty but edgy vibe. I also love the multiple chain strands and difference in thickness and texture of the chains as well. The love of Iosselliani jewelry hurts me - It costs such a pretty penny for some pieces that I definitely should not even think twice.... Help me justify the purchase, I mean I work hard, right?
