So ever since leggings came back into style - I have found it very difficult to opt for jeans. I mean come on - what's more flattering (slimming) than black stretch pants with an elastic waist band? After being tortured by my friends and family and called out on several occasions, I've finally decided to bring jeans back. But the only jeans I care to rock are yes, "pre-holed" (is that a word?) and extremely distressed. This Current/Elliot boot cut pair caught my eye @ Barneys Co-op!
Current/Elliot is an LA based design team made up of two stylists (Emily Current and Meritt Elliot) who were re-working vintage denim in an effort to create the perfect jean. Their work instantly caught the eyes of celebs and Current/Elliot was born!
I have to caution the purchase of these jeans. Note: Don't wear them to the bars or around drunk boys who will definitely find a reason to help "rip" them further for you. I had to learn the hard way - and give the guy a quick swift kick in the ass for ripping my $300 dollar jeans.
In addition, I want to mention that Current/ Elliot definitely uses "vanity" sizing. So if you are ordering online, make sure to order 1-2 sizes down from your regular jean size as they run a little big in order to make you feel better. :)
